Queen Bees

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Revival queens are placed in JZBZ cages with 4 attendants. The JZBZ cages are then placed into a JZBZ battery box for shipping. They are normally shipped via Canada Post Xpresspost. However, we are monitoring COVID-related shipping issues and will asses what carrier to use closer to the shipping date. If we feel that we need to use a different carrier the customer will be contacted regarding proposed changes. Customers will have the option to change or upgrade their shipping service but they will need to cover the additional cost of doing so. If the new cost of shipping is greater than the cost agreed upon during purchase, the customer can cancel their order and get a full refund. Once we ship the queen you will be emailed a tracking number. If you do not receive a tracking number from us by Wednesday of your requested week please email us at info@RevivalQueenBees.com.

A signature will be required for the queen delivery. Queens are shipped at the buyer’s cost and risk. You will be prompted to input your address during the checkout process.

Customs FEES

The USA border is temporarily closed to queen imports from Canada so we are currently only shipping queens within Canada. Once the border reopens there could be an additional customs and tax fee on queen orders delivered to an address outside Canada. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.

Queen Guarantee

Revival queens are guaranteed to be alive at the time of shipping. To the best of our knowledge these queens will be in good health. Once the queens leave our care we cannot guarantee their acceptance into your hive, their performance, or their health. Due to many factors that influence queen health and introduction success, including unforeseen complications during shipping or individual beekeeping practices, we do not guarantee our queens or provide refunds once the queens have left our care. Queens cannot be exchanged. Please read our blog post for more information on how you can increase the likelihood that your queen will be successfully introduced into your hive.

Queen order cancellations

If you cancel your queen order and your queen(s) has not yet shipped, your payment will be refunded, minus a deposit fee of $10 per queen. A refund will not be provided if your queen(s) have already shipped. To cancel your order please email us at info@RevivalQueenBees.com.

orders that are unable to be delivered

We will not be held responsible if your package is refused, unclaimed from the post office, or undeliverable because you were not home or input the wrong name or address when you placed your order. Please remember to check your address carefully when you place your order.

failure to supply your queens during the week you requested

In the unlikely event that we are unable to deliver your order on your requested week, we will contact you to arrange an alternate date. If you are not satisfied with the date change we will refund 100% of your payment including any shipping fees you may have paid.

Merchandise

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Due to delays related to COVD-19 we are not able to guarantee shipped merchandise arrival dates.

Stickers ship from Edmonton to Canada and the USA via Canada Post untracked lettermail within 5 business days of your order. This shipping option is the most economical choice for our customers but please contact us if you would like a quote on tracked packaging. The current delivery estimate is 1-2 weeks for Canada and 2-3 weeks for the USA.

Pillows, blankets, gift boxes, mugs, wax melts and candles ship from Edmonton to Canada and the USA via Canada Post. You will be provided with a tracking number once your item ships out. The current delivery estimate is 1-2 weeks for Canada and 2-3 weeks for the USA.

Printed shirts and hats are custom printed and packaged when you order them. They are shipped to you directly from our printers in Canada or the USA. It takes 4-9 business days to fulfil (i.e., print and package) the order, and 3-10 business days to ship it to you. This means than the estimated delivery date of your item is 7-19 business days after you place your order. Shipments will be given a tracking number, which will be sent to you via email once your package is shipped. If 10 business days have passed and you still have not received your tracking number, please email us at info@RevivalQueenBees.com and we’ll look into it right away.

Customs Fees

Customs fees may apply to sticker, mug, blanket, pillow, wax melt, and candle shipments to the USA. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.

Due to delays related to COVID-19, shirts and hats that are normally printed in your home country may be printed elsewhere to expedite fulfilment. If you incur customs charges for these items please email a copy of your customs payment receipt to info@RevivalQueenBees.com and we will provide you with a refund.

SEPARATE PACKAGES

If your package seems to be missing items, don’t worry! We sometimes ship orders in multiple/separate packages. If 7 business days have passed and you haven’t received the remainder of your items feel free to contact us at info@RevivalQueenBees.com.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

We will not be able to cancel your order once it has begun to be processed. Typically, this means that if you do not email us within 2 hours of placing an order, there is a high chance that we will not be able to cancel it.

ORDERS THAT ARE NOT ABLE TO BE DELIVERED

We will not be held responsible if your package is refused, unclaimed from the post office, or undeliverable because you input the wrong name or address when you placed your order. Please remember to check your address carefully when you place your order.

Pro tip: package theft is on the rise – if you’re expecting a home delivery and you know you won’t be home to accept it, use an address where you know you’ll be.

REFUNDS

Our merchandise items only qualify for a refund if the product itself is flawed (i.e., if the product is damaged or is not what you ordered).

To qualify for a refund you must email info@RevivalQueenBees.com within 14 days of the delivery date. Please use the subject line “REFUND REQUESTED”, and include photos of your product, a copy of your purchase receipt, and your reason for requesting a refund.

If your refund request is approved you will be refunded the total purchase price of the order. If your order only contained the flawed item, you will also be refunded the shipping fee. If your order contained additional items, you will not be refunded the shipping fee.

EXCHANGES

For all items, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your items if you live outside the Edmonton area. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please contact us to obtain the return shipping address.

Stickers, candles, and wax melts can be exchanged within 14 days of you receiving them. They must be unused and undamaged to qualify for exchange.

Shirts are custom printed for you, so you can only exchange these items once. We can only accept shirt exchanges for a different size, in the exact same style and color that you originally ordered. If you would like to exchange your item for a different size you must notify us within 14 days of the delivery date. Your item must be unworn, unused, and unwashed. It must also be in the original packaging and accompanied by a purchase receipt.

For all exchanges, please email info@RevivalQueenBees.com and use the subject line “EXCHANGE REQUESTED”. Include photos of your item, a copy of the purchase receipt, and a description of what you want to exchange.

Some items, such as gift boxes, pillows, blankets, mugs, hats, and backpacks are not eligible for exchange.

EXCHANGE OF discontinued items

Discontinued items do not qualify for exchange.

HONEY

Exchanges and returns

Honey cannot be returned or exchanged once it is purchased. All sales are final.

Refunds

If your product is defective or damaged please contact us immediately at info@revivalqueenbees.com. We will offer a full refund and may collect the product from you for quality control purposes.
